After a seven hour school shopping marathon yesterday, I painfully realized that summer is over in just a day or two. Why did it go so fast? It seems like last month I was questioning whether or not I was going to survive. Now I can't believe it is over. Can we invent the DVR for life so I can rewind or at least pause and remember the good things?
The Good Things from Summer 2010
We had a great camping trip at Gooseberry Lake up Fairview canyon with our neighborhood friends the Crimans, Daniels, Farrers, Wrights, Hursts and we even saw the Freemans who were camping there.
Mom finally got the garden in in June.
Randy and Chris spent time again together in Oregon after which Chris went to EFY for his second year.
We spent time in California with all the cousins for the fourth of July.
Lizzy attended her first EFY at Rexburg, ID.
Chris finished his Eagle Project, which means Chris got his driver's license.
Chris when to lake Yuba with the teachers and had a great time kneeboarding and tubing.
Lizzy had an awesome time at girls camp.
Mom made her first apple pie in a dutch oven.
The Farrers and the Wrights gave us there torn out sod to lay under the willow tree.
And I think all the kids grew 6 inches.
